  And, to be honest, I don't see any reason to spend credits or even real money for a virtual badge not giving any return of value.

  Speaking of CC benefits, it should be enough to have some members play daily and use their free passes for the CDP. CC L4 is @149,625 XPs, not far out, granting the most important rewards.

  Thus, attracting active members is more significant than achieving CC L4 all alone, IMHO.

  Is there a chart showing number of XP generated by various formats?  (Stroke alone vs stroke with others, 9-hole match vs 18, 9-hole Alt vs 18)

  For some of my lower level members, they want to know how best to use their hour-a-day playing time if they need XP for certain equipment.

  Paul (pdb1) once attempted such a list here and we worked on it for a while, but I can't tell the title.

  A raw attempt from my memory:

  In general, one XP per stroke, and the CDP gives the most over time, even if only with one shot of any game.

  Solo strokeplay is 90 for 9 holes / 200 for 18 holes. Tournaments double it.

  MP strokeplay is quite a few more, but time consuming.

  Matches are quite valuable as are A/S games.

  Blitz and Skins have a lot less, IIRC, CTTH is bottom of the league at 14 XPs.

  The "awards" (sic) were really annoying, and what is more frustrating you would have upwards of a couple of minutes showing these meaningless junk awards flashing across the screen, yet they cannot reinstate the after game chat (once the final player holes out).

  Thanks, alosso.  When you say "tournaments," do you mean both club and wgt, or . . . . ?

  Both, including, probably, CC Custom Course tourneys.

  OTOH, Brackets and Clash rounds are "regular" (90 XPs plus strokes).
