  Why allow a post through moderation only to lock the thread a few hours later?

  The Gift of Golf Foundation is NOTHING like what I had proposed.

  That is/was a fantastic idea and many kudos to those responsible, but MY proposal was to recognize the fun ladies we enjoy playing the game with.

  Only 2 comments, and both negative by way of misinterpretation, and my whole idea is down the toilet?

  That, my friends, is just not cricket.

  No thanks. This is a fun golf game and we're not going to start ranking women by any metric. Check out Gift of Golf (in the announcements and news forum) if you want to nominate someone for being awesome.
