I returned home eariler today, to find my dog lying on the front porch, covered in mud and dirt. In his mouth was a rabbit, also just as dirty and muddy. My neighbor raises prize rabbits for show, and I knew that it was one of theirs, so I removed the rabbit, cleaned it up, and quietly returned the animal to its cage, unseen by my neighbor. I had gotten away with it! Later, about 30 minutes, I heard my neighbors screaming.........
So being a good neighbor, I rushed outside and asked, "what's wrong?" Playing it up innocently............they informed me that their rabbit had died, 3 days ago, and that they had buried it, but now it's back in the cage..........they're talking about moving! Lol
