So you haven't worked this out in two+ years around?

Let me help you: The golf ball depository is in the inventory, not in the bag. The latter only carries one type of balls and is rightly closed during the games, a software solution in respect of Golf rule 4-4 a. Of course it begs the question if they aren't fond of some increase in sales, but the consequences of a round quit when out of balls are far less here. OTOH, it shows carelessness in preparation.

BTW: You might want to think of the inventory being in your garage, unavailable while on the course. ..

Ok i can agree Alosso but the rule 4-4a you referred to is only for the number of clubs you carry in your bag, not on the balls, you can change a ball during a round when during a round if the ball is the same type of compression, so when you get back to starter ball the rules are not applied correctly, i think if you want to talk about rules the WGT game has a lot of illegal situation.

I think that it would be kind from WGT to accept that we can pick a ball in our inventory, where by the way starter balls are in.

If i understand well starter balls are in my garage as the other balls are.

Alosso you bring the rule book of golf into this question lol, clearly this is done for a credit grab by WGT. If I did not have any balls in my virtual Golf Bag inventory , than I have NO Problem with purchasing Balls at that time or playing with the Free Balls BUT, when I have other balls in my bag that our better than the Free Balls we should be allowed to access them, just like were allowed to change clubs during a game if you don't like the one the virtual caddie selects for you !

Clearly, you work for WGT or INVESTED in WGT or you just like spending credits when it not necessary

Why can I only use a starter putter with starter balls .

Tried the ghost and the meter is uncontrollable . way to fast .

See the difference between bag and inventory!

The bag is closed to comply with the rules, and, IMHO, the balls are a collateral damage of programming.

And, if you want to switch balls in a game and accept less personal performance due to their different characteristics, you may as well quit and restart after a visit to the inventory. For important games, we should better accept the "one ball" rule of WGT and stack up our supplies.

None of that. Clearly, you are 100% culpable of wrong prejudication. I'm but a foreign customer with some knowledge and old enough to accept facts as reality.

BTW: If this small item irritates you so much, you might as well set up your own computer golf game(?)

BTW2: If the balls are too expensive for you to stockpile them, use cheaper ones!

4-4 a explains why the bag is closed. Obviously, the balls being included is an easing for the programmers. The financial advantage for the company may be a side effect, or not.

To me, the fallback to Starters is an easy means to let a round continue if wished.

(italics by me) What kind of limitation is that? Never heard of that, never saw "compression" compared!

As I remember back in the 80's, they stopped players from using 80 compression balls. Usually a Titleist with all black writing was its make up.

On a 90 degree F day, or hotter, an 80 K ball would travel a considerable distance further, compared to all others.
