My club uses Discord, and a lot of our members meet there daily to play matches and mingle with members from other clubs. We also have a group that meets at 8pm est each night to chat and set up matches. We have a lot of fun there.
We also have a lot of club tourneys and events and we ask that our members also participate in at least some of those fairly regularly.
Participation in the clashes is optional. But a lot of our members enjoy playing in it, and we always place very well for a small club.
We hope that players who come here will take an interest in all that we have to offer because they want to, and not because they feel they have to.
I routinely weed out players that seldom or never participate in any club tourneys and events.This makes it difficult to build numbers as a small club. But it insures that the players we have are sincere, active members, who enjoy each others company, and have a shared interest in making our club a friendly and enjoyable place to be a part of.
