  Well, I got it started... and yea, it was an account issue. 

  Had a few extra minutes so I thought I would take a look at it.  Those of you who have been here for awhile and have read my previous rants on the TW Franchise know that for me to even start this was a small victory.  I had had enough of "cartoon golf".

  Well.. after one round at Wolf Creek I can say categorically... IT'S FREAKIN' CARTOON GOLF!!!

  First round EVER, started with an Eagle on a 5 and ended with an ACE on a par 4! 

  I don't think this will be something I'm going to be buying anytime soon... LOL

   

  A 66 and I had no idea how to putt.  Don't believe me?  Here's the card:

  Yea.. I borked the posting.. but you get the point.

  TWO is not realistic... it's not challenging... and it's not for me.

  If it's something you want to play, please feel free... sure, there are some interesting aspects of the game, a nice variety of courses, gameplay is fine... It's EA so you know they're not messing around...

  But, it's just not golf.... well.. I take that back.. it IS golf.  It's classic Tiger Woods EA Franchise golf..  y'know..

  Cartoon golf.

  I'm like you Snaike, what is the point in playing if there is no signifigent challenge. I made a hole in one on the last par three on Kiawah (I forget the number) in a match play game with,get this-Dontcryulz-kind of a cool name though.I still lost the match despite this very lucky shot.I ain't going no where, especially not to cartoon land.Theres plenty of challenge right here,a little to much for me right now but that will pass...TWO is for real characters..Not real golfers.

  Yes when you start out if you are playing from the easy tees it's easy to get a good score.  Try the hardest tees & pins if you want any kind of a challenge there.

  Can anyone who plays TWO help me? I've been told to 'change the graphics settings', which is very hard as a. The forums get you no help on TWO and b. I can't see the graphics menu due to, erm, bad graphics.

  So I need someone to lead somebody blind on that game. Any takers?

  Ellis if you can't get the game window to launch where the settings are I suggest you pm one of the ea guys in the forum to help you.  I have all my graphics settings there on low as my swing meter responds better to that.  I haven't heard of anyone with these graphics problems that you're having there.

  Oh I know... I am sure that my huge 265 yard driver would do well from the tips...  but that's not the point.

  The point is.. the very first time you do something it shouldn't be easy, before you even learn how to do it, you shouldn't be able to do well.

  I think I have finally figured it out...

  • WGT is a golf game for golfers...
  • TWO is a golf game for gamers...

  Neither is right or wrong, it depends on which ~you~ want to be.

  well i must say iv played 30 or so rounds ova three days.....came back to wgt to play the week 44 tournys and it was then i realized wgt is a way better game all around, one thing i do like about two is the daily tournys and the way ther set up....so at the end of the day wgt is the game for me...
