the first thing i did was to empty the browser cache.

The Flash cache is different and requires a different procedure. Go here  and click "delete all sites." This will clear the Flash cache.

Maybe you're swinging it like the Daytona putter, the topic of this thread. Then again it could be the ball you aren't using. That B-XD ball doesn't help.

As YJ says, a bit off topic but I'll add my tuppence worth since I notice this too sometimes.

I have the L80 R9 and frequently outdrive players with the R11 when using the same ball.  I would say it's when playing into a headwind or, maybe, crosswind.  The high flight of the R11 lets the wind effect the ball more.  With a tailwind forget it, the R11 easily outdrives the R9.

Sorry for the interruption, normal service can now be resumed.

Re: The Daytona putter avatar movements.

Is it not the same as the starter and beginner? i.e. 5ft for females and 6ft for males?

No, Nicole, there are extra scales. The first 2 scales only have 3 movements so the values change a bit.

My old R9 is better in the wind than my R11,  wind in the face that is. My longest drives have been with the R9, doesn't make sense but it's a fact. Played with a pro on a real course yesterday and he hit my Cobra ZL an avg of 25 yrds farther than his R11. I use a 9.0 Cobra ZL in real golf and avg 285 off the tee, not bad for a 60 yr old. Too bad the rest of my game has gone south over the years.

No, Nicole, there are extra scales. The first 2 scales only have 3 movements so the values change a bit.

So i am saying that the 15ft scale has 3 x 5ft movements for females and 2x 6 plus 1x 3 for males, and the 30ft scale has 6x5ft for females and 5x6ft for males.

But you are saying this is not the case?

I'm not sure what you're pointing out, Nicole, but threespot just posted this. It may make it clear for you.

Hi, i was trying to quote previous posts and messed it up.

I had asked before if the daytona was not the same as the starter, in that it had 5ft scale for fremale and 6ft for male, you answered no.

I then looked at the other putting thread today and there is a link to a post that gives the movements for males and females and it seems to agree with me, i.e. 6x5 ft for females and 5x6ft for males, thus my confusion.

I think I'm mixing up scales and movement values for you. Trust threespot's chart in that other thread and you'll be OK.   :-)
