Pretty much all I ever hear is the complaint about an issue, & not what if any of the myriad of things in these very forums that you've tried to correct it.
Of course it gets worse after updates, if you do nothing to correct the corrupted files the update has created.
You are not paying customers. If you are paying, that is your choice & your choice only. You are just like all of us; glorified beta testers. Is it right after all these years? IMO, no; but it's the way it is.
They owe you nothing, yet give you what I consider to be a great game, once you get the system & combination of things needed to get it to play correctly. They may indeed have issues; but the players (whiners) have more issues than that.
It doesn't matter how expensive or fancy your computer is; in fact, most in my experience who have no issues use middle of the road rigs with older OS & flash versions just like me.
Two things tell me that the majority of the issues mentioned here are on the users end; & they are both facts.
- Everyone that I know of or play with either have no playing issues or do little to no maintenance.
- I have seen quite a few people come here with the same complaints & issues, only with common sense as well, who've tried the suggested fixes & come back to say thank you & played on without said issues.
Then there are the ones who come around here at regular intervals, whining about the same issues, apparently never trying to fix anything as they are convinced it is wgt's fault, so why try?
These are the poor frustrated souls who seemingly never see any regular playing time due to wgt's "intentionally" trying to run paying players off with their "intentional" game issues & specific player targeting for various reasons.
Now they aren't the shrewdest businessmen in the world to be sure, but it would take a special kind of stupid to be as greedy as most agree that they are, & in turn do all these things to "intentionally" run that same money off.
I guess common sense flies out the window in some peoples lives, & it's obviously not a homing sense coming home to roost later
