Pete, WGT continues to baffle most of us. They provide what is without doubt the best virtual golf game there is, which results in hours and hours of real fun and enjoyment, and then compromises everything with certain aggravating things that - as you suggest - take the fun out of playing.
One gets the impression that they are (and deserve to be) making a very profitable business out of bringing pleasure to large number of people throughout the world. But while satisfying all of the people all of the time can only ever be a pipe dream, there is much more WGT can, and should, attend to to make their service even better appreciated by this wide public. But they don't ever seem to listen. The clients' unnecessary aggravation seems not to be a factor worth their attention. What a pity.
