I played a guy in stroke play.

After 4 holes he let timer time out until he was disqualified.

I went on and finished game with -3(9holes)

He was +3when he left and got the win.

    How is that possible?

    That I totally whacked.

Which significance would this "win" have? or your "loss"?

How? Another error which appeared when the return after a disconnect in stroke play was introduced - seemingly too unimportant to fix it.

A fine example of betterworsening skills ;)

players do that in challenge match play too you still get your credits but mostly legends forfeit when they are not winning it raises there average but it doesn't help your average either

I'm not sure who I can talk to or where I can go with this, I was just playing in a skins game on WGT Best of Hardest holes. I had won 6 skins, we were on the last hole worth 2 skins, I hit my approach within 2ft of the pin, then the game disconnected, One of the players quit I think, anyway we got kicked out of the lobby and couldn't get back in the game. I would have won 8 skins in that game, and I ended up with nothing becuz of some WGT glitch, I want my credits, there were 4 players at 25 a hole each, so I'm out 800 credits minus my investment, This better get taken care of. As a matter of fact, I just noticed I lost 255 credits, I started the game with 1,630 credits and now I only have 1,375

i pay 550 credits for a Nike ball that's suppose to be a slow meter ball and i'm waiting for it to slow down still. It's as fast as your cheap balls so why play or pay the difference if it's going to be that fast. Then i have a buddy who has a mac that has used Google and Firefox his meter either jumps around or it passes up where he hit the button. This stuff has been going on for months and we never see any changes. He can't use comodo on his mac so now what is your suggestions? And yes he clears things before he plays. And it wasn't this way before so it had to be you guys adjusting things on here. Why is it that when hitting out of a bunker the backspin doesn't take effected like in real golf? And no surveys to take! That's just a start to my complaints let's see if I get any answers because  I know I won't from you guys because you don't care.

I used to love this game  when I could count on something to go right. Since becoming a Master, I have an R11 Driver and 3 wood. Using Callaway balls. Driver set to hit 255 and with these balls on a low wind day would hit 270 easily on the ding. Now i rarely get 255 and my clubs a Rocketbladez and they to don't reflect the distance they should.

Seems there is something  going on that causes this inconsistence to go on and I wish it would get fixed. I'm a 4 handicap  female golfer and play twice a week in all kinds of wind and i've never experienced the ridiculous results I have in the past 2 weeks.

I just started playing this game on the 28th of June this year and did quite well moving up the tiers to where i am now, It was fun and the friends I made have been very helpful. Now even they are agreeing there upset with WGT for altering the shot codes that make this game work. I certainly hope you will fix these bugs so that the game will again become enjoyable. It is a challenge without having changing results all the time. Inconsistencies that cause  player frustration does not promote friendly relations.

    hyena64:

Clearing things too often will cause issues as well. Certain files are needed for the game & clearing too frequently will cause them not to be there.

You really do talk some nonsense.

How to build a successful Country Club

Start small 15 to 50 players, remember your looking for quality not quantity

Set rules but be flexible. Once you have your 15 members, and have them on your friends list, make sure you send them emails. Of what you’re trying to do. Have a country club home where. It’s friendly but where everyone is expected to play in a certain amount of games, we have a major once a week, it last seven days, and it’s free. Here comes the hard part, have 3 or 5 tourneys going on all the time, invite members to create tourneys, after a 10 day period , send a thank you note to all non active players and release them, this a country club, not a Spa/resort, something you post on your profile to show you belong to a country club, then make a move once you have the hang of it, and go straight to 50 players, same process, wait 10 days and re release all non active players , you will actually build a core membership of players that like full leader boards and competition . Always stay in contact with players on the team. We have been around about 6 months. We just released 10 players, between them they had 6 games played in less than 20 days, and the other 40 averaged 13 games a piece. Or 520 country club events entered, do players get offended, not the ones who like to play. We have never cut 1 player who plays in our weekly Major every week or a member who plays 8 different events a month. Some players starting out don’t want to shoot 55, and have a legend shoot a 28, understandable. make sure you have a tour pro and down game available for lower tiered players. Some can compete ,others haven’t the clubs yet to compete,

Skype if you can, our club is call THE AMERICAN GOLF ACADEMY AND SKYPE CLUB. This lets players know the have an option to audio with team mates in alternate games or when both are playing club tourneys and cant see each other, but want to know what’s going on, sometimes we play other country clubs, and we have players listening in on our country clubs skype , just to see if the Club is fairing alright.. Important to have legends or masters willing to play with new pros, they can shave 5 points off there average after what they can learn from a veteran player,  like learning short game, or reading wind.  You might say that’s a lot of work, its work if you don’t love to play WGT, but if it’s your hobby. Well who wants to have a hobby of running an unsuccessful country club? Well good luck, And if you’re thinking of starting  club don’t just dip your toe in the water , Dive in, all so have a board of members so when you cant run things , they will fill in for your country club, we have 5. Did it happen over night no. will it happen, of course you’re not looking for 1000 golfers, you’re looking for 50. or 250 if you have the time and energy. Once again good luck.
