flop shot issues

  Why don't the flop shots on Congressional create the same results as other courses - namely Bethpage?  I get a good, predictable flop on Bethpage, but Congressional doesn't go as far-barely makes it 4-5 yds.  Very frustrating not to be able to use that shot when I want to.

  conditions are far more different there

  hi

  I assume you mean from the sand? bethpage sand mostly 15/20 while congressional 30/40, which would explain the difference in performance.
