I managed to install it at the third attempt but the problem I had the first time when I ran the installer was that the pop-up box that showed progress was way up to the top left of my screen, to the point where none of the buttons (OK/Cancel etc) were visible, only the 'X' to close the window in the top right corner. The problem was I didn't even notice that for some time so all I could see was the installer open and 'waiting to install', and it was apparently unresponsive.

So I clicked the 'X' and then downloaded/ran the installer again, and this time it asked if I wanted to repair or remove the installation. I opted to remove it and then ran if for a third time, making sure the progress window was moved way over to the right of my screen this time. That worked.

As for the program itself, it certainly will take some getting used to since I am not a mobile player. But as others have said, patience is key here. WGT say it's an early access version and that not all features are ready yet. It's just a 'taste and test' version for us to try, it's in no way the finished product.

I'm happy something, anything is being done for PC players quite frankly, and that there is something for us to test out ahead of the final switch-over. I don't much like it yet, but I haven't had the chance to tinker with it. The original Flash game took time too.

So for that I say thanks WGT.

    Nigel.

I had the same problem, after some google search I found a solution

This error is because your windows is not in English, the installer need your username into a local group called "Users"

Search local group on the star menu, create a new group called Users and add your username in it

    Good luck!

Welllll, based on your scoring history, I don't see you finding mobile any "easier", CC red-tee so called Tour Champ!

The app version being "much" easier my as$...

I play red tee or whatever tournament the CC has posted now, even some of the weekly's but to no avail.....did you also notice the difference in the number of rounds played the last 2 years? Especially the last year....

That's because of the bad eyesight and chemotherapy, just plain "sick", and the Mobile app is still much easier to play....I came through the ranks the hard way so call me what you will, the fact that you think the mobile app is harder says all I need to know about you and your ability!

Listen up, Dan. I'm sorry to hear what you had to go through and sorry for calling you the way I did. I wish I could take it back and I would if I could.

I'm here to enjoy the game I love and have good time with good people. I have no hard feelings about you, as a matter of fact, I don't even know you well enough to have such negative feelings towards you. Apparently and unfortunately, the same is not true with you about me. Please don't deny it 'cause you and I know what you've said and done in the past.

Honestly... what have I done to you to deserve it? If you wanna talk, I'm open and willing to talk. Life is too short to hate and I'm sure you don't want to live up your life the way you do now.

    Cheers.

Bjorn, if you are still struggling with the installer install, I have uploaded the game files to my Google drive which cuts out the need for the installer.

    Link removed at WGT's request.

The golf data is a folder with 130MB's worth of files in. Click the link to go to my Google drive and click the download all button. Google drive will bundle all the files up into a zip folder and download it to your PC. Double click the downloaded zip folder to unzip it, so that it becomes just a normal folder containing all the files (about 70ish).

Next, click the golf exe link. This is just one file. Once it has downloaded, double click it to run it, and hopefully the game should start.

Each time you want to run the game, you will need to double click golf exe file on your PC.

If you want easy access to the golf exe file, right click the file and select pin to taskbar or start menu, so it's readily accessible.

I had a problem with Norton removing the files. I had to put them back in and do an exception in the anti virus
