    Hi WGTCHAMPION.

I have downloaded the .Net framework (don't think I need then I have a brand new computer) and I have tried to installed with local administrator rights and logon as a central administrator with all rights, but I still am getting the same error message.

I also tried with several different browser, but it is the same.

What else is needed to make the Windows game to work?

    Kind regards

    Hans

Will PC users get the the "cross platform" issue as there is no flash anymore when inviting friends to play who use the app version ?

Andy, sounds like you need to tell your bulldog (BullGuard?) security that this game is not a virus/threat.

Scott,   As ALWAYS you go above and beyond helping everyone !! That being said I am holding off even looking at any of this "new" format stuff at this point ...(Old dog new tricks) I guess..But my question is ....Do I still have till December 2020 to play the game the way we always have? As according to Chrome they will stop supporting FLASH around that time....        Thanks,JD
Thanks JD. I would say that yes, you have until the end of 2020 to continue playing the flash version of WGT, unless the big guns who control the internet decide to get rid of flash earlier than is currently planned.

But, having said that, you may be able to play for longer than Dec '20. You can use an old browser that supports flash, and you can use an old operating system that Microsoft no longer supports.

One thing that could put an end to all of that though, would be if WGT decide to withdraw the flash game. Then it won't playable whatever you try to do.

Scotts inbox should be full of messages where people send him sleeves for all he does.

Open up your anti virus and make an exception for the file

Bjorn, if you are still struggling with the installer install, I have uploaded the game files to my Google drive which cuts out the need for the installer.

    Golf DATA

    Golf EXE

The golf data is a folder with 130MB's worth of files in. Click the link to go to my Google drive and click the download all button. Google drive will bundle all the files up into a zip folder and download it to your PC. Double click the downloaded zip folder to unzip it, so that it becomes just a normal folder containing all the files (about 70ish).

Next, click the golf exe link. This is just one file. Once it has downloaded, double click it to run it, and hopefully the game should start.

Each time you want to run the game, you will need to double click golf exe file on your PC.

If you want easy access to the golf exe file, right click the file and select pin to taskbar or start menu, so it's readily accessible.

Thanks a lot Scott, i really appreciate all your help :))) I`m going to download "netframework" from Microsoft also and try again, apparently that needs to be in/on my PC to get it to work.

    Cheers

    Bjorn
