I managed to install it at the third attempt but the problem I had the first time when I ran the installer was that the pop-up box that showed progress was way up to the top left of my screen, to the point where none of the buttons (OK/Cancel etc) were visible, only the 'X' to close the window in the top right corner. The problem was I didn't even notice that for some time so all I could see was the installer open and 'waiting to install', and it was apparently unresponsive.
So I clicked the 'X' and then downloaded/ran the installer again, and this time it asked if I wanted to repair or remove the installation. I opted to remove it and then ran if for a third time, making sure the progress window was moved way over to the right of my screen this time. That worked.
As for the program itself, it certainly will take some getting used to since I am not a mobile player. But as others have said, patience is key here. WGT say it's an early access version and that not all features are ready yet. It's just a 'taste and test' version for us to try, it's in no way the finished product.
I'm happy something, anything is being done for PC players quite frankly, and that there is something for us to test out ahead of the final switch-over. I don't much like it yet, but I haven't had the chance to tinker with it. The original Flash game took time too.
So for that I say thanks WGT.
Nigel.
