Perhaps so Jim......I have not made a move to the Callaway balls. My experience with them, for shots at less than 140 yds, is that they produce many unexpected results as one adjusts spin on the ball...at the same time, I know exactly what my Burners and wedges are capable of with varying degrees of spin (both top and back) when using the WGT Legend balls...H

I'm pretty sure it's the ball, Harve. I went out and played around with the G1-SD and the Tour-SD to compare and the Burners do forgive better with them. Missed hits weren't nearly as drastic and you can use back spin more freely without wild deviations on missed hits. I assume the Legend ball is the same and I can see where you're coming from.  :-)

You'll get used to the distance deviation on these irons. For a direct 15mph headwind full backspin, for example, I would hit the ball 13 yards extra. The difference between the G10's and the Burner 2.0's is huge, and the meter is only slightly faster. Well worth the buy IMO.

I take it you mean the difference being huge is a good thing right? If so thats just what i needed to hear and soon i'll be seeing  for myself.

Without a doubt! Don't be surprised if you have one of your best rounds with them right out of the box.  ;-)

I would love to know what percentage of players inside the top 100 use TMs.My bet is that its over 90 percent,I cant remember seeing a player now with I15s and they used to be the top dog,Just goes to show how advanced this iron is when it completely dominates the leader boards.:)

I can remember reading the "what's in the bag" rundown of our last 2 majors qualifiers and was quite surprised at the nearly non existence of the ping irons. I know I'm not in the league of some of you guys but these irons have been my best club purchase to date ... by far.

hmmmm and here i am still grinding away to lvl 79 with my current G10's. I've been super looking forward to these 2.0's for around a month now, currently at lvl 76, but now after reading this you've put doubt in my wee mind lol.

Stay your course, Tony. You will plotz when you get them. The point here is that you don't have to have them to have a good game. But, if you want some high tech fun stuff to use you won't be sorry and they will take you to another place with your game.  ;-)
