R9 driver

    Can someone tell me if it's ture that only master's can buy R9 drivers?

    There are at least 3 types of R9 drivers, and the (by far!) longest-hitting is only available for Master players. A break from reality.

     the R9 Master is available only to masters. But, IMO,  any pro that uses the R9 or the couple other 250 yard drivers will still usually have the advantage because of the shorter tees. That's the only reason there are some "master-only" clubs .. to keep the tiers competetive.

    The r9's were discontinued a while ago (this thread goes back 7 years!), they were horrible anyway.

    There are far better alternatives in the pro shop nowadays.

    If you would have paid any attention to the thread you would see that it was started back in 2009 . 7 years old now and for future reference if you cant find certain clubs in the pro shop it means they no longer exist .

    I know original thread is almost 7 years old but... The master R9 was a great driver at the time. It was the R9 Super-Tri that was awful.
