A new feature or option has to be introduced in this game when losing a golf ball. I understand when it hits a lake or ocean but when it’s a few feet off the fairway in the dirt or the woods it doesn’t make sense. I only use WGT balls due to finances but it still gets annoying.

I find the cost of balls is greatly reduced when making it a point to stay out of lakes, oceans, dirty woods AND Indian Casinos. (not so much the last one...just a good rule of thumb)

Dchallenger, I appreciate your obvious sound advice. I really never thought of it that way.

    Miaski0:
    it doesn’t make sense.
On the contrary, it makes perfect sense!

IMNSHO, it's their bread-and-butter business, putting credits (and $$) into their pockets steadily. And, it's up to each of us how much to spend: 0,02 $ per shot or zilch.

Any change would have to protect their revenue or even raise it, otherwise they wouldn't invest in it.

Thus, be careful what you wish for - it might hurt you and all of us!

There again, the game is rigged to throw balls into "lost ball" areas with the slightest error on the meter, or have you never noticed?  I've even hit the pin on the 1st hole at St Andrew's only to watch it go all the way back into the Swilken Burn. It's pathetic really.

Even worse  if you've actually played St Andrew's for real as I have myself. When your ball goes into the burn for real you simply jump down into the shallow water and pick it up again. No lost ball drama.

I've even lost two in two shots. Ball one dropped into the water just short of safety then played 8 yards extra on the 2nd attempt only to see it drop even further back in the water. As I said, it's rigged to take your ball.

It's just WGT sheer greed for money. Fleece the players at every opportunity is the creed here. May look like good business to screw the customers but I just wonder how many players have given up WGT after being cheated out of a ball. To lose years of player investment in the desperation to force them to pay for another sleeve is short sighted but you can't actually get that through to their customer services who are the most useless, dumbest CSR's I've ever encountered. Try them, you'll see for yourselves.

I hear you ask, so why you still on here? Just running down my credits then I'm offski. Yet another customer lost over greed. Go figure.

What would be your suggestion as to how they should get a return on their investment? They have spent thousands of dollars, and countless of hours to create this game that we love to play. And let’s not forget that you can play this game for FREE if you want to, and they give you 150 credits a day to save to upgrade your equipment if you would like to do that.

So please enlighten us, before you no longer grace us with your presences here at WGT. How should they go about to get a return on their investment?

User Error for not hitting the ding

User Error for not pulling the flagstick (see the pattern yet?)

Totally irrelevant... this a a game not real life

Again, User Error for trying to hit the hero shot and not play it safe.

From my point of view, your time has come to simply leave. If you haven't figured out the little quirks of the game by now, you never will.

If you are looking to dump some credits, why not gift some items to some friends?

    Don

98% of all bad shots are on us. Could be not checking you club, bad math or just a dumb mistake.

I totally agree that bad shots are on the user and it is the users fault. I also agree that we get 150 credits free a day for doing nothing but clicking videos. All I was saying is that if you do have a bad shot and the ball lands in an area that is logically recoverable why not be able to recover the ball instead of just being a lost ball. Maybe a feature that charges a few credits to recover the ball. Was just suggestion to begin with.
