    And Nancy1959 has dunked 5210

Addicted to the lure of those Awards like so many of us.

And if I am not mistaken, back when the glitch was in effect, I am quite sure the Platinum Water Boy had nice little chunk of XP's attached to it.

Why do I have this image in my head of someone endlessly hitting the free rock into the water over and over again until they reached 5,000 to receive the Award?

    Don

Georgian probably created a custom course with the same water hole for all 18 holes. 10 shots per hole.

    180 per round. 27.7 rounds.

Each time you hit in the water it costs a stroke...so you wouldn’t get 10 hits in the drink per hole.  So Nancy spent more time than you think.

Forgot that they keep that record. 269 and counting. Not whining, but perhaps wining. And Nancy1959 has dunked 5210!

    3 things

#1 that is only the number of balls lost in the water, That doesn't count all the balls hit OB or in an area that says lost ball that wasn't in the water.

#2 I wonder how many of her 5210 balls were the free ones that she was just trying to get rid of,

#3 Also was she trying to get the in the drink awards? Par or better after hitting in a water hazard, That award is rather easy to get, just  drive into the bern on #1 St, Andrews with the front pin, A decent pitch gets you a short putt for par and maybe a hole out for birdie, The only thing is that it takes 10000 balls hit into the water and getting par or better to get the Diamond award, But she could be half way to that award,

Note that you have to complete a RR for any stats to count. Thus, it would mean 10,000 rounds of STA front nine.Certainly, there are courses with more water...

Are we talking about the "Water Boy" award?

I know that award has appeared for me a number of times when I have NOT hit a ball in the water.  And it still happens.  Another glitch, I suppose.

IIRC, there was a thread at one point that indicated that the count for that award was totally off.  I don't keep track of it separately.

Its just a freaking game fellas, and there has to be rules to follow and if they say it's a lost ball then buy another one .NOTHING IN THIS WORLD IS FREE, EXCEPT HEARING PEOPLE *** ABOUT SOMETHING SO PETTY. BEAT IT THEN, LATER DUDE.
