    misstery:

The new Ghost putter is Fantastic,

same meter speed as the rossa,

But three times the cost.  Is it THAT much better?

I will not be reverting to the beginner putter. I was horrid with that thing. Contemplating going back to the Redwood, though.

I will say, so far as realism goes this game has it down when it comes to equimpment. In my pursuit of golf out here in the real world I am always looking for the right putter, the right irons, etc. and I change my mind a lot. Same on WGT, apparently.

Sticking with the G10s and going to play around with some wedges. Also going back to Callaways for now--I was messing around with cheaper balls, but they just don't do it.

Thank you all for thoughtful suggestions!

No John, and if money is an issue the beginner putter is one of the best putters out there.

I just love to have some new bling in my bag, and after the disappointment of the old ghost putter this one is a vast improvement.

I just need them to bring out a Diamond encrusted version, I really will sparkle on the greens then :-)

    PS congrats on making Legend

Since I disagree with you on the older Ghost I'm interested in why you say this one is better. LOL-Not about to spend 24 clams to improve something I'm already happy with just to find out but will sure listen to what you say.

BTW, You guys happy you waited for nothing? LOL, face it-clubs better than the Burners and CGs are going to cause havoc with the low scores. It will be very interesting to see where WGT goes with this in the future but the Burners and CGs are it, now.  :-)

Only really in that the meter is slower Jim,

My old ghosts meter would sometimes suddenly zoom in speed, faster than a burner iron with a standard ball. (prob my computer), and cause me to miss some very easy putts.

If ur meter is smooth and the speed is not an issue for you then you won't notice any substantial difference between them.

The new one works much better on my pc than the old one. For me it's The best putter i've had so far.

Tx for that, misstery, I figured the meter had something to do with it. That's been the biggest complaint that I've seen on the older Ghost but using higher scales and movements takes that out of play for me. The roll being as smooth as it is is what sold me in the first place and now it looks like changing the meter speed will grab a few new users.

Happy I waited. And it looks like I'll keep waiting. Do you seriously think WGT is not going to come out with clubs that are equal too with a slower meter or better than the 2.0s? How else are they going to suck money from Legends? Seriously YJ? You've been here long enough to know better.

I the biggest selling point is the added forgiveness and balance. I've been mucking about with it for a good six hours now and have sunk a few 10-15 footers whilst missing a pixel on the side of the break.
