  No disrespect meant, I'm sure you did what you felt was best. I just don't sugar coat and tend to speak mind if you hadn't noticed. Not going to divulge and cause an argument in the forums. Just an observation. In the end overall it's been a very fun event and I would do it all again.

  Your 2nd post had not been released before I wrote mine.... I'm glad you had fun, that's why finny and I put all of the work in.

  Good luck to everyone in the finals, already we have had some intense battles in the plate, that's awesome....

  Jediknight1976 wins 3 up v Niblick85

  A very enjoyable game with Paul. I was fortunate to go 2 up after 2 as Paul was a little slow out of the blocks but then there was nothing much between us for the remaining holes. I managed to keep ahead & then a win on 16 closed out the game.

  Another thoroughly enjoyable World Cup to be apart of. A shame it has to come to an end.

  I've met/played with some different people which is always part of the attraction of the competition.

  Many thanks to Finny, Dotty & everyone else that helps make the World Cup such a successful and enjoyable comp to be involved in.

  Cup final: fmagnets wins 1up Vs andyironhands.

  Very high quality game with Andy, with never more than 1 hole in it. 55 to 56 in the end. I got a bit lucky with a mishit par putt on 17 after a visit to the fescue, otherwise we might still be playing.

  Thanks very much for the game, and best of luck to the remaining matches. And a huge thanks to the organisers and captains for all the effort that goes into keeping the show on the road.

  It didn't seem like either one of us had our best stuff tonight. Jon got an early lead and was able to keep it for the win. Thanks for the game Jon, and best of luck to you guys in the rest of the finals.

  Plate Final

  Havvy   v   Tomcarioca and Havvy posted this on our forum.

  Another nail biter. Was 3 down on the front, but pulled even with an eagle on 12. Mistake on 13 gave it right back. Caught him again on 15. Traded birds on 17(!) and 18. We both barely missed downhill 11 footers on 4th extra. On 5th extra, curled in a 20 footer for eagle, and he lipped out his 7 footer.

  Havvy defeats TomCarioca 1 up on 5th extra.

  Been a great match with the Fanatics and this could quite easily have been 4-3to the FF,4 Extremely close games all going to SD.

  HAVENT HEARD FROM TEAMS IN THE THIRD/FOURTH PLACE PLAYOFF EXCEPT NAVA A SO DONT THINK ITS HAPPENING.

  TITANS V BANDITS AS I ASSUME ITS ONLY 9 PLAYERS NOW AS JAY CANNOT GET TWO MORE PLAYERS,

  PLATE FINAL DONT KNOW WHATS HAPPENING THERE EITHER.
