If we are being so specific you need to specify which time zone the tournament is working to.

Sorry as I'm not involved I shouldn't interfere but time zones did my head in.

This from Finny p40 NO GAMES TO BE STARTED TILL SUNDAY 15TH FROM MIDNIGHT UK TIME

As far as I know the forum times are pacific time.  A post in the forum at 6.51pm on the 14th was posted at 2.51am on the 15th in the UK.  If it was posted after the round that gave them nearly 3 hours to play it.

    posted at 13.22 UK time

    Group 3 Round 4 Match 1 Tie 4

    136 1irony defeats 97 Venna68 with a score of 57-61

It was a very good captain vs. captain battle between Jacques and I. I didn't play fantastic but I had a few shots go my way, including a pitch in for birdie on hole 5 (after blasting my eagle putt off the green LOL), a tricky holed putt from the fringe on 6, and an ace on 9. Jacques got unlucky on some putts and approaches that, combined with my lucky few shots, would have reversed the direction of the game. It was a pleasure to meet and play with Jacques, and I wish him and his team the best of luck moving forward.

    Cheers,

    Darren

I won a very close match (with a curvy 8' birdie putt on 18) against " alkoholikk " 61-62. Quiet game. Both of us had our "ups and downs" with Al mostly throwing darts at the pin. At least my putter showed up for this match to help stay with him! Game went to the last hole with Al making a 13' birdie. I holed my 8 footer for the win. Al was a gentleman and it was an enjoyable match! Well played Sir!

    306 pertyboy803psu - 62

    411 terwyl1 - 72 (adjusted from 70)

Unfortunately Terry was dealing with a poor connection for most of the match.  Thanks for the game and the good company. Hope for a rematch some time, and good luck with the rest of the cup!

    FarFoo:

Have you spoken to the captains about this Dotty, seems very pedantic since both scores are recorded as played on the 15th.by wgt?
Time zones have a 24 hour variance, If we are being so specific you need to specify which time zone the tournament is working to.

Also, I'd say that both SEL and TCC have a conflict of interest in this.

    Thanks Gordon,

You are correct there would be a conflict of interest if we were going to push it. I go by what I see on the post. I did not check score history, so since it was posted on their score histories as the 15th, thanks for pointing that out.

At this point I would have asked to have both players confirm to us that is was indeed played on the 15th.

But lets just have fun and keep it light. We also had another game that was posted on the 14th. So finny and I have decided to just accept both scores as is and no need to play them over.

Going forward, we will not be putting the match ups out a day early, I will put them out on the day the new round starts around noon UK time. That way there will be no confusion on when to play.... see match ups, go play :)

    Cheers all.,

    Dotty
