  Had the pleasure of a round with Darek earlier, well 2/3rd's of a round anyway lol.

  Walked off the 3rd green A/S despite hitting one within 2ft and it all slipped away in the next 4 holes. 4 down through 7 hanging on for dear life I missed 2 very good chances on 10 and 11 to get a couple back and it was just a matter of time from there.

  Darek nailed one into 12 for the eagle and phoned a taxi for me on the next. I lipped a few but it wouldn't have made a difference really.

  What a great guy to play with and a pleasure to watch, class act. Sleeve of balls after the match as well, thank you Darek much appreciated my friend.

  This competition gives us a chance to play with some of the best and today I had that pleasure despite the kicking, thank you

  Nova B vs East Coast

   It was a great battle with Al the whole way.  I was 2UP after 5 only to have him tie it up to AS going to the back 9.  The back was more of the same, great match!  If not for a couple of small "oh-ohs" on his part (things we all do from time to time), it could have been a different result.  I hit the bird on 17 to end the match 2UP.  Great match Al, and the best of luck to you and East Coast moving forward!

  Match 3, Silver play-offs:

  jacktrade 51 (#181) def. Sarah91 (#430) 5&4.  I had a good start with birdies on 2, 3 and 4, and I just having a little better day overall.  Fun game.

  Also, TimBeck (#188) and Bosfan2006 (#423) were AS if that wasn't reported elsewhere.
