Several times now I've hit drives with full backspin, but it comes out flat and with no spin. Has this happened to others, or is it just me? It happens randomly and even occasionally on Par 3 holes, when hitting with the 3W.

    Please advice.

    Hi

i seen reports of this error but we simply can't reproduce it :(. Any other hints you can give us to help tracking it?

None, Icon. Just happens randomly. Ignored it several times not knowing what it was. Happened again when driving on Cong. 4 in a Challenge game and my opponent explained that it was a bug in the game. It has happened several times after too, with increasing frequency (or maybe I'm noticing it now).

Does seem to occur at the most inconvenient moments. Does that help? :-)

That's my thinking too. One train of thought is it happens when you move spin too fast and then click to drive. If you become a little more deliberate, maybe it will fix itself? Could you try that and then see if it helps? -wgticon

Absolutely random, on occasion twice within 9 holes but not restricted to a particular hole or course, but only happens when full backspin is applied, no issues when 3/4 or 1/2 back is applied...............

I agree. Like Icon said, I've been trying to see if it's because adding spin is the last thing I do (and then start the drive very quickly after). I still can't conclusively say either way. I'll  try to concentrate on adding spin first, then adjust marker, and see if it still happens.

I've been deliberately choosing spin first; then setting the marker on drives, and for a while I thought the problem was solved. Then it happened again, despite the precaution. So that's not the definite source of the problem.

No relief in sight for this glitch. It has happened on drives and 3W tee shots for me, but today for the first time, I had a 3i tee shot that had no spin despite adding it first, then moving marker etc.

    Any help, anyone?

Many times your mouse still controls the dot for spin even after the button is released and when it does this when you move your mouse up to make the swing it moves the dot to full top spin. check and make sure this is not happening to you.

No sir, I am very deliberate about it these days. I always double-check the spin position before hitting.
