Spin Error on Drives

  ffs, will you guys fix this flatliner shots problem, full backspin applied but ball fires out flat with no spin or maybe even topspin, you know it's happening so get it fixed

  I've had a few instances that I've seen a graphical glitch where the red dot can be pulled down well below the ball, and pulling the dot up dosen't go all the way to the top. At BPB #3 I saw this, and I also got the line drive tee shot.

  I may have just seen  2  random bugs coincidentally happen on the same hole, or perhaps they are related in some way, i dunno... those brush tees would most definitely solve the problem. LOLz

  LOL! I would love brush tees. I do prefer zero friction tees to brush tees though...another this WGT should add is a tee height option. Have it so that you can adjust trajectory but have a certain distance penalty (maybe 5 yards on a minor change, 10 yds on major change) so that it is not just used for more distance. It would be a really cool feature- as it is possible in real life to hit a low  shot with tons of spin for accuracy, but you need 1 more club.

  make the brush tees 50 credits for a 3 pack, and have them work like those callaway balls, with the hits meter. Each tee with a decent amount of hits (try 200 or so). People will love them!!! I know I would buy them and use them without fail!

  i just copped a flat shot after putting full backspin on the 4th tee of congressional while straight into a 10 mph headwind, of course i hit the tree and fell down into the deep rough, game ruined, Icon you have said before that ball trajectory into a headwind is higher than normal, well guess what your petty excuses are running out fast.

  I am not with this thread but want to know who else has been having problems with the meter these last few days. I have sent several bug reports to WGT and even ask that they replace the sleeve of Calloways that I lost on the 5th hole and St. Andrews because the meter jumping like a rabbit on me. Master levels should not lose a sleeve because of a problem like this and I find it appalling that we don't even get a response to our complaints but they take out our money fast enough!!!!!!!!!!!!! Anyone else had this problem in the last little while let me know, I think we should stand up for this one.

  This ERROR is costing matches... credits, its cost our Team important matches on the ladder site when in highly competitive 4 ball and Alt Shot matches.

  What amazes me most is that the WGT responses are weak at best... "move the spin on slower" was one option...LMAO... are you serious WGTicon???

  You guys say you cant reproduce the error??  Play 3 rounds of golf.... seem to get one almost evry if not every 2nd round and its NOT just the drivers!!

  I have had irons on both Par 3's on Oak Back, even a couple of wedge shots have landed on greens with full back, gone long and rolled with no spin. Its more prominent and noticable by players when hitting drivers.

  Make a SERIOUS effort boys and get this sorted!!! 

  A proper reply from a proper WGT Technician is required on this subject, NOT silly suggestions and weak excuses.

  I don't get it often, sometimes twice in a day but then go for few weeks without. Stating playing 3 rounds and get it, doesn't mean much as we cannot reproduce it the next time.

  I have stated the same in many threads:

  1. yes we are aware of the issue

  2. we cannot reproduce it

  3. we need steps to reproduce it.

  we cannot fix something that we cannot reproduce.

  I have some further questions...

  1. How much time is being seriously dedicated to this?? 

  2. Why are we not having a response from a proper tech with a proper explanation??

  3. You need steps to reproduce it you say... What steps?? and who is making these necessary?? and again, how much time has been invested in this??

  4. This thread has been around for getting on 2 months now.... why are you still giving the same excuse as you did on the 09/09/11???    Surely if serious work was being done on this you would be able to give us some true idea as to what is going on and what is ACTUALLY being done???

  5. You say you are having this problem too... Why is a company that knows there is a problem, still allowing the game to keep rolling along, still happily taking money for balls etc..... WHEN THERE IS A FAULT????  

  This is not a minor issue. It is a more than regular occurrence and one that is seriously affecting the game.  Its costing people real money!! and matches in highly competitive tournaments and Ladder sites.

  When someone is giving the same excuses after 2 months, it tells me and all that read these forums, that no progress has been made and is not being made.  Meanwhile, we see more ads, more silly products eg. Crap balls with Team names on them.

  I am sure that all on here agree... We want REAL answers and EFFORT to correct this fault.

  What a classic.....

  Maybe i shouldnt have said anything.... WGT got me again on first game after making last post.... LOL

  11th at Andys... 180yrds... 15mph wind blowing left to right at angle of 8o'clock to 2'oclock.

  I hit 175 3/4 backspin... slightest miss of ding to left (should take distance off as we know) , it bounces at back of green and 17yards long!!!

  My mate steps up... he hits 175 1/4 backspin... slightest pull also, bounces couple of yards short of the pin to the left and finishes 2.5ft from pin... pin high.

  Now tell me that is not weird when we have same clubs and balls.

  Every player on this site is reproducing this problem everyday, because it is happening more and more often, surely the producers of this site should be able to reproduce it as well, you're a cop out wgticon.
