  lol, Don i believe Muirfield in Scotland was once on the cards, up until a point women were not allowed in the clubhouse there.

  Thats us Brits for ya.

  Muirfield was the 2013 Open course. We hoped but after not getting the 2012 Open course which was Royal Lytham & St. Annes it didn't happen. The last virtual Open Championship WGT hosted was 2011 at Royal St. George's.

  2027 - Pebble Beach, CA

  While waiting for my trucks general maintenance I noticed a golf magazine. The front cover read -  The Top Rated 100 golf courses in the world. 

  Ratings went by -design - challenge - overall scratch handi.avg.- etc,,etc.I was curious to see how many WGT courses made the top 100. Here is what I found including course rating. 

   RATED COURSES IN THE WORLD

  • 3 - St. Andrews
  • 8 - Oakmont
  • 11 - Pebble Beach
  • 15 - Merion
  • 16 - Pinehurst
  • 33 - RSG
  • 53 - Bethpage
  • 58 - Kiawah 80 - Bandon Dunes

  This years Winged Foot is rated # 23
