I continually hit -5 with no drop in average. I am giving it all I have to tier up.

I am currently at 61.15and have hit almost 6000 games. I am well over the 500 I need to tier up but still my average will only drop after every 3rd or fourth game I hit -5 or under.

Any help or suggestions are welcome.

I am currently a Legend.

I assume you are meaning that you hit -5 over 9 holes. From your log you only have 9hole rounds. So that would be -10 over 18 holes (assuming par of 72) which would put you’re AVG at around 61-62.

For Tour Legend you need a 60 or below AVG. You will need to get those -5’s to be -6 or -7 to get below 60

Compared to a Par of 72, you are at -11. Do you think that rounds of -5 would be good enough to be in contention?

Please, stop thinking in +-Par. You played rounds of 31 and 32 recently (*), which - by the factor 2 - translate to 62 and 64 for average calculation. They may contribute to a better average, but only in small numbers.
(*) Two 30s on 01/22 though

An example: If your stroke summation of the 500 best scores would drop by 2 strokes, the resulting average drop would be 2/500 = 0.004, thus well below visibility in a majority of cases.

61,15 * 500 = 30575. Thus, you still need to strip about 75 strokes from your average.

Fazit: You need some more scores below 32, and you need patience, a whole bunch of it!

Hello Green329. I reached tour legend two weeks ago. I think your average has to be 60.00 when I reached tour legend my average was 59.99 . I hope this might help with your question. Good luck.

You will love the Chump to Tour Chump tier. Need -7/-8 to drop your average. Lol.

Most of what Alosso is telling you but what's probably a typo (or maybe thinking of ave to get to Legend) will make a bit of a difference.

That's 575 strkes that need to be stripped, better make it a lot of patience and scores of 30/60 and under, although 32 may still help.

It looks like your red tee tournament is at St A's, maybe try one of the nines that are 34 in par I know they are tougher courses but off red tees a 30 should be within reach.
