    dedBuNNy:
The entire menu on the left side of this website is Flash, if you're seeing that then your browser supports Flash.

You do not NEED Flash for this website or to log in. 99% of the site will still function without Flash. The only things that will not function are links that direct you to the Flash game itself.

    dedBuNNy:
You can't even log on to the main website without having a Flash plugin running as the user/pass is Flash/AS.

You can log in without flash here...

    https://www.wgt.com

...although you will probably have to copy the URL above, close this page, then clear out your browser cache to get to that page.

Once your logged in, they menu on the left for managing the game, messaging people etc and the login which comes up is gone.

Ya that is the initial login screen, once you login you don't see that again, like you say unless you clear cache completely.

But to manage your account and such, you need that menu so the'll have to do something else with it.

Lol, don't make me think about mint sauce Simon........    : )

    There is another login here...

    https://www.wgt.com/login.aspx

Although this login looks like a flash object, it isn't. So if WGT are capable of making that look like the flash login, but out of HTML thingummybobs, then they can probably do the same for the friends list underneath. Maybe thats somewhere in the pipeline for the future.

Another plus is that both this login page, and the previous one I mentioned, are https. I'm not saying that the current login is not secure, but it is reassuring to be able to login on an https (secure) page.

This login, actually the whole left side menu is a Flash asset and does not display in non -flash plugin enabled browsers.

WGT mixes up the protocols for forms and scripts throughout the website, it's kind of odd actually, but they do.

Scott that is one of the main reasons that Flash is being abandoned ... it is not secure and vulnerable. As soon as you log in with a Flash browser it goes from Https to Http

When I login in on a flash enabled page, it goes from http and remains http. Not sure I want to think too deeply about that!  : \

Maybe I should stick to logging in on one of the two secure login pages I found.  : )

Actually Scott what I said about Https and Http is not 100% accurate. There are Https pages (Account/Buy credits) that need to be secure because of the info being shown or asked for, and there are others like the forum pages that do not. They will be Https or Http regardless of whether you use a Flash browser or not.
