I usually have a lot of short putts ranging from 2 to 10 feet. How can I guarantee to make those putts? It's not uncommon for me to 3 putt from 7 feet away. Please help!!!

    hi,

I think the issue is your putter. that one is the starter, so it's not as precise as others, in the pro shop.

Stay with the putter you have and do a lot of practicing.

Putting from any distance is the hardest part of the game and you are not alone in feeling frustrated at missing putts. Happens to every one and can only improve with practice ... even more expensive putters miss just as easily:)

If you are three putting from 10 feet, I would say distance control is probably your main problem.  I suggest trying to get the ball to just die into the hole when you putt.  Factor in the slope as best you can and if you miss it, you should hopefully have a short 1 or 2 footer at worst left.  Once you get the distance piece down, work on the slopes.  You might also try playing Bethpage for putting practice.  It has the flattest greens.

If you don't already know, Icon works for WGT so his answer was always gonna be "buy a new putter" haha...He must be on commission.

The starter putter is fine if you can hit the ding regularly. My advice is always look at the reverse view when putting. It's more accurate when reading the green from this side and the hole looks bigger. and keep practicing.

Seriously the beginner putter is better than the starter and does not cost a dime!

Yes but it's been discontinued, not many players still have it.
