AceFactor I have witnessed some of the worst behavior ever seen in Match Play as well. The manner in which a player can hold you up for 15 minutes when they are losing and dont want to let you win the match is stupid. I understand that once in a while you get booted, I think it has happened to me in 2 matches out of 200 so not very often but I have people disconnect at least 10% of the time. Something should be done and the timer isn't doing it. Regarding the credits for touneys, this site is very cheap when it comes to that and the recent allowing of 'betting credits' on match play borders on a gambling violation. They are obviously doing it to generate revenue, with their 10% fee but I can't see how they get past the gaming regulations. US based companies are not allowed to offer gaming on their websites, just ask some of the big poker sites.

Wouldnt it be a good idea to have a 100 credit entry fee for all single play weekly comps,,if you chose not to pay the 100 credits you can still play in the unlimited ones..Then the prize money will be boosted considerable and its ony 1 dollar for 2 comps,, once a week..

Please don't take offense Tarheels, but none of that is even remotely true.  It would be wise to familiarize yourself with skill-based gaming laws before you start a conspiracy theory.

It's a business.  And it's not a very good one if they aren't generating revenue.

Although it should be, poker is not yet considered a skill game.  For the record, playing poker online is not illegal.  It is only when you attempt to fund your bankroll with a credit or debit card drawn on a US Bank.  If the bank allows the transaction, they get in trouble, not you.

WGT is certainly not stupid enough to risk felony charges without having their legal team check it out 100 times over first.  That's only common sense.

OK, I just finished 5th, 7th, and 29th in the weekly tourneys for a grand total of 34 credits.  In the 100 credit buy-in multi round finished 15th for a whopping 48 credits.  Used 2 GI SD balls and lost 3 in the unlimited due to meter stopping.  So according to my math I spent roughly 196 credits to win 82.

Those aren't great finishes but respectable nonetheless.  WGT please tell us why we should continue to play these tourneys when strong finishes don't even come close to the price the play them.  You have said that we will have more opportunity to earn credits but your formula is to cut prizes across the board and have more tournaments, meaning we spend more on balls and net significantly fewer credits in the process.  The goal was to prevent the same players from always earning the credits.  I see a huge flaw because those of us who could earn decent credits from top 10 finishes can't even come close anymore.  What about the people that don't consistently finish in the top 10?

Hi Jake, the tournaments that just finished were last week's, which did not have the new credit pots implemented in this week's tournaments (wk 49). Please let us know how you do in the wk 49 tournaments next week.

Well yeah, isn't that kinda how the world works?  If I go to a restaurant I have two options, stand outside for free or pay to get the full experience.  At least WGT lets us nibble at their appetizers before we decide to sit down or not.
