What does GIR mean - shown as a %
gir=green in regulation. it means hitting green in specific # of shots for each hole where par 3 = green in 1 shot, par 4 = green in 2 shots or less and par 5 = green with 3 shots or less.

The % you're seeing is the % of times that you've reached the green in regulation or less. GIR of 17/18 holes = 94%.
