As Ivietri and other have been talking about above WGT would have to look at scoring average to make it work properly in having a higher level then Legend. But I would like to suggest if they made a higher level then Legend the only title that would work is "Hall of Famer". WIth real averages which a Legend should have no max games keep track of all there games but a real average. Anyone with a min. of say 1000 ranked rounds and a sub 59 Average would qualify. Make a special area for the Hall of Famers with stats etc. Would give the players the ultimate reward to look forward to. Just a thought on the subject.

    TheAceFactor:
This is assuming that a large % of Legends have a lack of class and pride for what they've accomplished , which is far from an accurate  statement.

I didn't hesitate to drop below 61 when I elevated to Legend.  Doubt I'd hesitate to tier up if another tier was created.  However, I am still adamant in my position that they absolutely need to create some concrete, tangible benefits to tiering, rather than just disadvantages.

Just my opinion....once you reach legend, all scores should be used to calculate average.

Once you make Legend there really is nothing left for us to go for. Still have all the Comps, but that's normal with all the Tiers. When you  reach L88, the R11 Driver is available. Now L92 Ghost is there, but my putting is pretty good and I don't really need it.

A new Tier is a great idea, maybe an.. A and B Grade within the Legend Tier. Sure it can lead to more sandbagging, but that happens in real golf anyway and the Sandbaggers can quickly get found out.

I've come down from a Ave. of 72(I think it was) when first turned Legend to my present Ave. of 63.5, which has taken me about 8 months and getting better which is great and enjoying it very much in this Tier.

A new Tier to play for, will be great if there is one.

    Cheers

Legend and Tour Legend, Tour Legends can tee off from the Moon! Agree with Lou, as always, he is correct. Time for a revamp ???

If there is going to be a next level tier for legends , extra tee`s some time in the future.

Then equipment only for that tier as well what can not be accessed from other tiers.

But, Sun, where are they going to put the tees? The tee boxes are already as far back as they'll go. On the 18th at Congressional they would have to rent out space for a new tee box on the front yard of the estate on the other side of Persimmon Tree Road.
