    up/downhill and sidehill lies

This will turn the game upside down. Then you'll have a real game and the scores will get to where they should be.

MMM , yes...would be nice. People think controlling spin is a challenge now...lol. I think there would be more "WTF" threads than "Quitter" threads...lol.

I noticed mine not going up anymore a few weeks ago, did a quick look through my score history and figured it to be at 200 rounds.

Averages on wgt are a hoax, not even close to reality, its just the specific games you play that decides that number.

Do a lot of 9 holes or cadilac and your avg drops like a bomb. I am now a 59 avg, but if I count all my games I am more of a 64 one

I totally agree,  they are a hoax. To be honest though,  once you make it to the Legend tier, does it really matter anymore? We certainly cant be accused of sandbagging!!

I've played with the OP(Dale) many many times, and he's a fine player, but, like me , he's human and has bad rounds, just as I do, and they dont seem to be taken into account in our averages.

Lets all remember that its a computer game, there will always be someone better.

PS: Covenant, we've never played,  but can you stop playing in the ready go's I'm in so I can win one once in awhile?  LOL

I think research showed that Legends reach a ceiling at 400 rounds where bad rounds are no longer factored into the average.  Though in truth, once you get above 200, single strokes may not cause any noticible change.  If you have a 61.00 average and you shoot a 60 or 62, you may see no change in the average, even though the score is included.

Edit:  I firmly believe they should eliminate that ceiling and let Legends have 'true' averages.

I put 'true' in quotes for one reason.  To all those who grouse about averages being a 'hoax'.  Yes, obviously.  But, unless WGT wants to break average down to individual strokes in ranked games, is it possible to have a true average in a game with unlimited tournaments, where players may restart bad games at will until they get a score they are pleased with?  The only way to get a 'true' average would be for WGT to use every stroke in every ranked game, even those that aren't finished.  If you bail on a 9 hole at +1 after one and restart, that +1 for one hole would have to be recorded and added to your stats.  Otherwise, we are never going to have true averages.

I wonder what the acual PGA ruleing is on that

Perhaps the true average may lay in the lifetime profile we all have. Average par 3 score, par 4 & par 5. Look at yours, do the math & the answer will be very close to reality.

for those that said it wont matter if we had 2 tiers or 50 tiers, go n get fffffffluffed, im a legend, but i didnt ask to be, and i shouldnt be i dont shoot friggen unreal scores like friggen 54, and those guys that do have a program to stop the meter right on the dinger,  CHEATSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS,   i just wanna play in a fair n square tier, the guys that shoot 60 -70, none of this 54 ***.  i dont see a amateur having to put up with tour masters in the same tier,  and havin guys with avg at 57  and in my tier thats crap.
