Steam Play will run WGT.
Bring up Steam and click on settings>Steam Play.
Make sure that both Enable Steam Play for all supported titles and Enable Steam Play for all other titles are checked. Verify that run other titles with Proton 5.0-9 is selected.
It may take a couple of minutes for the game to start the first time you run it but your wait will be rewarded.
