Not sure this has been addressed  before but I wonder how this works.....

If I send my user name & password to anyone they can simply enter WGT & play using my account, right?. Is there any chance to avoid people doing this?

You see, we are having an important competition & I am starting to see amazingly great scores from lower level players, fantastic scores never seeing before in those players score history. I do believe they have given their passwords away to top players who play the rounds for them.....very unethical & unfair as you can imagine.

If this is true, really hope WGT does something about it to keep the competition FAIR within WGT. I love the game, but I hate playing FAIR when someone else missuses accounts this way.

That can be done ... and I'd be fairly certain that there's nothing WGT can do about it.

I've seen it, too, glad it's not just me.

It's sad when competitive spirit overrides the spirit of competition.

I know what you mean OP, pretty sad some people will try to win a friendly competition by any means necessary, and to do it so blatantly is rather, as your screenname indicates, LOL!

    Why am I here?

Lizzie. ( No xx because whatever love I might have had for this game, is gone. Cheers everyone)

I agree Bollox. This tournament has slowly lost it's "spirit" as some say. The most important factor here Bollox is the integrity, and the respect for our clubs will always stand strong.

As for our members of The Elite, we will not lie down. We have a CC that has "true" respect for the game and more importantly, respect for "themselves".

    GAME ON!!

Are we speaking of the Deviations Tourney?

I guess it's obvious after last week at Oakmont, Cosa Nostra is playing by the rules. ;)

who's been logging in to play for you Sam? (Joking)

actually if it's true what's being highlighted here then it's wrong and goes completely against the true spirit of golf.

easiest way to check it out though is have WGT check out the person(s) IP log in address history. I mean if he or she is US based and the IP's check out fine apart from the time where the IP used was traced to a European IP address or even a different state for example, then I'm thinking he/she'd have a bit of explaining to do....you can't be in two different places at once.

IP checks only take a matter of minutes.

i'd rather play my best and lose to the better players rather than cheat my way to a good score or victory.

never have seen any sense living a lie.

    TBE

Yeah Sam....Who...LOL - YES it does TBE, yes it does....the "true" spirit of golf as well as the true spirit , integrity, and honestly of the entire CC,  wouldn't you agree.
