What a mess just because of my innocent question....

Ohhh, I remember now playing a match game vs an Argentinian guy who spoke perfectly English but...didn't speak a word in Spanish!

Man, what sick this is........of course, I am out of here.

One thing is FOR SURE -  The Elite CC will be extremely careful what tournaments we enter in the future. My concern from this point on has NOTHING to do with win or lose in this tournament, my concern and feelings go out to all the fair and straight up CC's involved in this tournament (except 1)and, the "honest" players that are literally taken back by all this garbage. I have members coming to me completely deflated from all of this. Everyone is starting to put 2 and 2 together. No need for any  names, CC's or players. If you have been a member long enough, I am sure once you find the stats, they will speak for themselves.

Players of Bollox's Character and Skill NEVER step away from a challenge or a tournament...NEVER, "unless" fair play is compromised. Enough said.

I hear what you're saying, however, assumptions do not prove anything. I'm sure WGT will have a way of investigating if there's been any wrong doing.

Indeed Bolly's a decent player and a nice enough person to play against and he never ducks a tourney.

The danger here is that the 2+2 might turn out to = 5.

If people can't even trust playing one another....then why bother?

The Dev Tourney, even though I sucked at my rounds....it is/was interesting to follow and once again congratulations to Lou for getting it on.

This whole thing had never crossed my mine. What a way to circumvent the system. I for one, having been here as long as I have, would never ask someone to play a round for me or vice a versa. Again, I just hope none of my friends are involved in any of this. I expect the people I friend to be as honest as I am, not only with me, but with others. The game of golf especially, is one of the oldest, and most gentlemanly sports in the world. Also womanly, excuse me. To cheat or deceive in any way, shape or form the integrity of this sport, is totally beyond comprehension and these people have no right to even compete. That said, anyone who plays with me, whether as a friend or a random AS game, if I notice you are shooting way above your ability, as shown in your profile, I will disconnect post haste. I have never done this before and I have taken some real beatings of late, by players who should be way below my skills. I will not waste my time again playing these people. I truly hope this doesn't happen.

Have only just had this thread brought to my attention by a fellow YBRCC member.  I own the Yellow Brick Road CC and would be very upset if I was informed members of our club were cheating.  I have been enjoying the inter club tournament, and even though YBRCC are way behind the standards of some of the other clubs, it has been nice to be playing along side the big boys.

With over 240 members though it really is impossible to police everything that goes on.  Especially when I have limited time to put into the game.  I really hope there are no members from our club involved in this, it would be a very sad day if that were the case.  It's a shame people can't just play the game in the spirit it is supposed to be played in.

I would expect the CC would also report the offenders to WGT since it is a violation of the T&C.

    WGT Terms & Conditions:

Your account is non transferable. You may not allow any other person to use your player account to access WORLD GOLF TOUR (WGT), participate in any tournament or game, or to accept any winnings related to your player account.

The last person to inform WGT about players with more than one account thus violating the said Terms & Conditions has had his own account banned from even playing this game so maybe that's not the best way forward lol.

"Had" is the operative word there qbal. Plus your story would add up and you'd be in the clear so please think twice about sending any SAM's via my Edinburgh home lol.  :)

In theory If a player from Miami came under scrutiny because one minute they were in Miami but 30 minutes later an ip used to log into their account was from say the region of Nova Scotia...then in such instances what would be their excuse? "I just ran downstairs to buy some milk and bread" wouldn't really do lol.

granted.  obviously there are ones circumventing the system and in time, wgt will sort it out.  wgt has come a long way since first being launched in 2007 so have faith bro.
