    Hi al

Need a bit of advice regarding wedges. Say the hole is 36 feet away and The cub comes up as ping tour w6 0Ll42 which shows 72 feet . does this mean the distance is 72 feet including distance in the air ? having trouble adjusting swing to club distance versus hole distance , if that makes sense

    regards

    Russ

One has nothing to do with the other, Russ. In your example the caddie suggested that club. The 72 feet is how far it goes if you take a full swing. You need to figure out how much of a partial swing you need to take to make it go 36 feet. It wouldn't necessarily be a 50% swing either.

    Hi

The rule for caddy is always to suggest club up if distance is inside 5 yards from another club. That's done automatically so person can always reach the hole. Of course aiming for distance, wind, break is nessesary.
