Roy... only addressing one of your issues... none of us get to play Pebble Beach... currently the course is closed to ALL.

If you want to play Pebble these days in something less than cartoon style you're gonna have to get together $495 for greens fees, $100 for a caddy and $9 for a gin & tonic afterwards.  Not to mention airfare and lodging.

Dont Know about the Costs of playing R/L Golf  in the U.S, but wish l could afford to do it. never the less im dealing with w.g.t game issues, a while back l saw w.g.t, adverts to play Pebble beach, entrants fee  500,credits, l do wear glasses, but it was a damn big advert,  the fact is the course is still in use, but only when it suits w.g.t.   Roy.

Roy... I saw the same ad, and just like you I got excited thinking they had re-opened Pebble Beach (the WGT version) ,but the ad was actually suggesting a 500 credit donation on behalf of a charity with a drawing for a chance to play Pebble in real life.

There's really no conspiracy here.  Now excuse me while I get back to playing the 7th hole at WGT Pebble Beach.  :)

Thanks for that info, Anything for charity is fine by me   The facts are we are playing the same old Tournament courses day in and day out  if w.g.t can set-up courses for CTTH  Tourny's, they can also make them full  18s. its just not enough to have 6, 18, courses its just out dated.  dont be contented with that , we all spend heavy on equipment because we want the best, and likewise exspect to have more than 6, courses to use it on   dont make excuses, make demands,  Roy

Be patient Roy. The courses cost a lot of money to get on here. I doubt there'll be another this year.

    Roy,

Maybe once you get a hang of SA and Kaiwah, you can venture into some ranked rounds on the other 4 courses...you might find a little bit more appreciation for how difficult they are, and some satisfaction once you start consistently scoring under par.

    Best of Luck!

Hey lm not knocking the 6, w.g.t  courses they are fantastic, w.g.t game play is the best and hardest golf game available, l just want more  great courses and so should you. l play all the 6, courses in our clubs tournaments, and  play Kiawah, st.andrews socialy, with friends l like  links courses, my preference.  And the scorecard is secondary.

     Roy.

We all do Roy, we all do.

It just takes a lot of time and money to make them available for strokeplay.

When I started here, there was only Kiawah and Beth Page available for stroke play.  Imagine how old that got.
