  Thanks guys. The main point I want to make is that WGT needs to drop either V.E.M. or the club forgiveness ratings. If they continue to use both then they are indeed using fraudulent claims to sell their equipment.

  One other aggravating aspect of V.E.M. Is that it gives an even greater advantage to cheaters who may be using auto ding software and never miss a ding on an approach shot.

  Sir ,, VEM is part of the game , that is what makes this game different , In other games 1+1 =2 ,and every shot will be the same , what fun is that , with VEM 1+1 might = 1.257 or not , toss in some wind at 10 two 12 from the side , that makes the player think to make his shot . 

  The cheater will always cheat , and that is a factor of a cheater who cant play but wants to claim they are better but cant take the time to be real .  

  There are all kinds here in WGT land , them that play for fun or the score and them that just want to be all about look at me . 

  Enjoy the game for what it is and have fun .

  My only objection dear OPY is that not every player plays with VEM. That's the thing.

  Sorry, Yiannis.  I don't have time to search through all your bloviated posts.  I'll just stick with my conclusion that you really don't know what you're talking about regarding VEM.  Enjoy your game.

  Is that so e?? You don't have the time to search but you have the time to make a conclusion and tell me i have no idea what i am talking about....well, read and enjoy then!!!

  I concur Frank.  The penalty for missing the ding is way to excessive compared to say 4/5 yrs ago . For a lot of players hitting early or late is a developed skill to "work" the ball according to the type of shot you want to produce especially to counteract the wind.........you can still play this type of shot but in my opinion it is less predictable than before..........and don't dare miss your mark by an 1/8" on the windward side lest you find yourself 4/5mt off target......despite using Clubs with 3.5 forgiveness !!..it's a joke !

  Umm, right.  I read that post by WGTpizza a long time ago.  Nothing in that post says (or even implies) that "not every player plays with VEM".  Actually, it says exactly the opposite, if you read the 2nd blue paragraph carefully.
