That's exactly what I said. The game is using the images that are embedded within the original game. Nowhere did I say they were using different images.
If they were able to use those original raw files which they shot, the game would look a whole lot different than it does now, of course the game would also take an enormous bandwidth hit.
Browsers don't do scaling, not with respect to image processing. Same word, but totally different.
There is a way to use high res images which are not embedded directly within the FLA flies of whatever you're working on in Flash, but you would never do it in something for internet streaming, the network load is insane. If WGT used that method in order to stream really high res course images so the game looked amazing? It would never play. You'd have so much lag and so many timeouts.
They didn't do anything to the images, the game looking 'nicer' is simply a byproduct of Unity, the fact that the game is utilizing more video card and monitor capabilities.
