SHOWDOWN FAKE BOGEY!!!! 😡

  WTH is this? ...I play the first 3 holes of the current showdown and I go bird/eagle/bird  for a -4...

  I just now went to play my "SECOND"  3 holes and I birdie um all for -3....So call me crazy but that -7 after six....Right??

  And this is now my friggin scorecard!!!

  

  I NEVER played those middle 3 holes???? I have only played a total of six actual holes!!!

  So now I'm outta contention by some mysterious phantom 3 bogeys put on my card ..

  Sorry for the language and rant  but I'm pretty upset!!

  Is it possible you hit the play button for them and then backed out before a match up appeared on your screen?  The matchup is often made before you see it, and you would be considered a forfeit, thus the bogeys, if the matchup had been made but you left before seeing it.

  Very bad luck, JD. your other six rounds so far have been stellar.

  Sorry to hear about that, JD.

  I went to start play of my final round of this Eight Day Showdown, and have encountered what appears to be a game bug.

  I chose a sponsor and clicked on 'Play Holes 1-3' button. The game shuffled through a few avatars searching for an opponent, and then suddenly kicked me back to the leaderboard screen with the sponsorship timer counting down, and the 'Play Holes 1-3' button next to it. So I clicked on the play button again, and now I've been on the 'Searching for Opponent' screen for 20+ minutes, with avatar shuffling and no opponent selected.

  It doesn't appear that I'll be able to play this final round. :-(

  I sent a message to WGT customer service explaining the situation and requesting that at a minimum they credit me back the 1000 cr I spent to enter the Expert tier of this showdown, and also a single ball for the hits I used to advance to the final round. Frustrating for sure, as I would've rather been able to compete for the higher prizes.

  It's been over a year the showdown events are being hosted with the very same issue. Primarily, it's WGT's fault, but by now it's also the players' as well since they keep on playing them instead of boycotting, they're basically encouraging unethical business practice.

  Well  Sir I didn't know about this being a Flash player up until 2 months ago and this was only my second Showdown......(and last I guess)

  This is the biggest bug that's still around for more than an year. It ruined/still ruining several people's great scores. 

  I beleive lots of people have reported this to CS n still the stubborn decision of ignorance  or  to even address the issue is none. As always, nothingg can be done though. It is what it is. A real shame to a great concept n Tourney.

  Happened to me the first 3 holes, I had only just started the final round and was putting for birdie on 3rd hole and screen said I was playing holes 1-3/18, but after I birdied it for -2 the showdown scorecard said I was +1 after 6, and no,I hadn’t started any rounds earlier. Have emailed WGT, waiting on response, Hacker.

  Happened to me but it was my fault, hit the play and while searching for a opponent I cancelled to change my balls, guess I should have read the rules. Once I finished a not so good position in the 30 and it came back as I didn’t qualify and would I like to pay extra to try again which I did, don’t ask me why. But I wrote to wgt explained and they checked and refunded me the fee. So it’s worth writing to them as there will be a digital record if you started the game or not
