Uneventful 64. Stayed bogey free. We'll probably be back there in three weeks for another go.
60 for me at Erin Hills this week.
Happy Brian :)

An otherwise decent round unfortunately got a stale aftertaste on the last 3 holes:
#16 28ft putt for birdie: lipout
#17 14ft putt for birdie: edgeburner
#18 6ft putt for birdie: lipout
So my love for Erin continues to be in check ;)
With the scores I have been posting, quite pleased with my round this week. A couple of bogeys on the front 9 and a par 3 that came up way short of the green(not happy with those). Missed a couple of putts that maybe should have gone in, (but oh well, that is WGT these days)(holes are now so tight, they squeak) Have to wait now and see what the rest of the front group does now.

Was cruising along the front nine, made the turn at 30 and on the back nine I couldn't sniff out but 2 bogeys and a birdie to finish a dismal

Well, I think I will wave goodbye to the top of the leaderboard with a 2 under 70. It was fun while it lasted! Good luck to everyone!
A blustery and slick 68 this week!
Cheers
73 for Almancini thanks Happy with that!
Well I started out thinking I would have my best round ever at Erin. 4 under through 7, but then bogey on 8 and 9, then a double bogey on 14 after I put too much back spin on a easy 90 yard approach shot to be on in regulation. Spun it right of the green into deep rough, ugh. Managed just one more birdie on the back to finish Erin 1 under. This course is so unforgiving, difficult to recover from any bad shot.
WK 17 at Erin in with a 71
