  I have seen the chat log and although I admit the comment was tasteless, I would like to point out the chat log shows your lack of respect as well. Seriously a 6inch putt you wouldnt conceed? Had you played respectfully maybe the foul mouth bugger wouldnt have had a chance to be that way. Just a differant point of view, I by no means am trying to defend the player just saying maybe dont push people as your actions were disrespectful. His was just down right rude,  had you conceeded the putt would the comment had happened is all. Two wrongs dont make a right but sometimes stuff happens.

  I don't care if she had 10 putts in a row of 6 inches and didn't concede them.  That is no reason to talk to another person that way.  I guess I am getting old but that is part of the problem today.  There always has to be something that caused us to do something.  What about being nice in the first place??

   1stly there are a multitude of reasons the concede didnt occur...i've been absent minded and didnt notice the situation.saying that it isnt mandatory to concede ,although can be considered a sportsmanship issue.Considering all the variables to even suggest that a lack of conceding is cause for anger is ridiculous.IF i dont get a concede i just shut up and tap it in.  grow up guy  your argument is flat  and childish

  Actually you need to reread my post, I said exactly what you just said. I like your point what about being nice in the 1st place. She was not being nice in the 1st place or it may not have happened. Not conceeding a 6inch putt is being rude in the spirit of the game, at least in my opion. I do not and said it it my post defend the comments by the player as they are uncalled for in any situation but had she been nice in the 1st place, would it had happend? that all I am saying!

  Edit: For player above me whatever get a life and learn to read. Seriously dont go critizing my postion without at least considering it. If attacking me make you feel better then so be it. Go to her player profile and read the comments, she did notice and said she wasnt conceeding, Just a differant opion, lmao.

  Mesmorizer,

  I didn't intend to make it sound like I was directing my reply toward you.  Like you said, we were both trying to say the same thing I believe.  I just think that sometime  people try to justify doing something when in reality they just screwed up and need to admit it and move on.  Sorry if I came across different.

  Wow, that is pretty tasteless.  All over not conceding a putt too??  Someone has deeper issues..

   

  Sorry you had this happen.  I'm fortunate to not to have run into this yet.  I've had some people ask me some, umm, questionable things, but none that I can recall stooped anywhere this low.  I've actually just changed my profile picture so I will be better able to focus on playing instead of having to deny friend requests throughout a match.  I'm even thinking of going to using a male avatar.  It's sad, but whatever it takes right?

   

  I'm glad you posted your link too, so I can be on the look out and not join a game with him in the future.  Hope WGT finds a suitable solution to this issue, as there is no need for it.

  Think the waters are getting muddied here.

  I know of no rule that says to fail to concede a putt gives the opponent any right to abuse their opponent .

  Stop trying to justify the reasons for the abuse.

  Not conceding a putt is not a wrong.  Good for you if you choose to concede all putts inside a certain distance.  That is your personal preference.  Someone who doesn't play the way you choose to is not wrong.  It is their preference.

  And perhaps that player had not been putting well.  If I am playing someone who is putting like crap, I won't concede anything longer than a tap in.  Prove to me you can make them before I concede them.  Also, in a tight game, if it's a nasty green, it is perfectly acceptable to make them win the hole.

  it is to bad wen a lady has to think of changing to a male avatar...that tells me  ....there is a lot of impolite ...man with lack of respect for woman....    or man for that matter .....being polite and respectfull is so easy to do ..it makes me sad to see those comment made to you ladies...
