It's terrible, terrible, terrible. Hate it. Can't stand it. If it was my kid I'd spank it. If it was my wife I'd leave it for another hole. Hate it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!.

Not knowing The G10 irons I cant help you much.  My Starter + set I usually bump it up 2 clubs (4 iron) hit it about full (depending on wind) and let the bank bring the ball back down to the hole.

I've noticed cross winds are a coin flip as to whether or not to adjust for it.  Seems like if you do it double crosses you and sends your ball anywhere it likes.   Also best to not swing late, takes a lot off the shot

Use the bank? How about a particular rock in the canyon, 'cause that's where ball always goes...

Check my blog - I have a guide to playing this CTTH with the G10 set. For the 6th hole:

"Hit it past the pin and the ball will usually roll back down the hill and get close. Full 7i full bs with side or head wind - I just want to get it on the hill past the pin, so I don't worry about choking down . Otherwise full 8i full bs."

This shot has to be hit pass the hole with more club that normal around a 160 club with the G10s or the TM2.0.  I use full back spin and 95% swing and depending upon the wind of course, play it a little right of the hole.  Generally hit in or near the back fringe and funnels back to within 5 feet or so.  If you get on the wrong side of the humps it can funnel away to 15 feet but generally always in that range.

Former G10 player here, although it is still vivid in memory. I hit 7i full B/S choked down to about 150 yards, using Callaway balls. Goes long but the back fringe brings it back a few feet. Take a GIR, 20ft and move on.

    Leon,

The most important part of this shot is the "DING"  You must hit the line perfectly for this shot to work. There is a pixel of forgiveness on either side.  Anything outside the parameters will send you back to the restart button.

Yes, that's the dirty little secret here. That's what I hate about it. You have to time it perfectly or it's water/lost ball/200 feet away.

^^  It's a fairway bunker, not much room for error. A lot like the real thing.  Try some of the tips posted here,  you'll get the hang of it.
