Chat "kills" my PC WGT program

  Playing a match and try to start chat, my PC window makes small shakes and the curser is out of control. I have to re-start the WGT program. My opponents may think I am unpolite ;-)

  Ideas to help please?

  If you turn chat off, do the window shakes and cursor issues go away?

  Delete and re-install I have tried some days ago. No change!

  It works fine when I don't touch the X for chat.

  This morning the chat function worked for 1 play but the next game it "crashed/froze" again and I had to restart the WGT.

  I also have tried the Steam version with the same result!

  Maybe I have a hardware issue? (use of F keys or.....?)

  I use HP laptop with a Dell monitor connected and wireless Logitech keybord and mouse!

  Ahhh...have you tried changing the batteries. Could be your issue. Batteries don't last forever.

  I had similar issues, did the delete and reinstall thing a couple of times.  The last time, back in Dec, I did the following

  1. Uninstall WGT

  2. search computer for WGT files then delete all, search for Topgolf files then delete all, then search for Flash files and delete.  Many websites used to use Flash and there may be some of those left on your computer.  When I did that to mine, there were 29 that I deleted.

  3. Reinstall the current WGT version

  I hope this helps your situation as it did mine!

  Now after total WGT re-start and fresh batteries in mouse and keybord: It works!!
