There is no way in hell I will play the high roller RGs with random winds. I'm not spending $5, $10, $20 so that someone else who effectively gets a 400y shorter course than I do can beat me. I stopped spending money on the straight RGs and other premium tourneys for the same reason, and will not spend money on them until WGT can assure me that I will have similar conditions per hole as the others I am competing against.
I used to play all my tier RGs. I won't play open RGs due to sandbaggers playing from shorter tees with the same clubs I have, but I have since stopped playing all RGs and premium tourneys due to the variable conditions. The only tourneys I will invest more than the cost of some balls for are CC tourneys with low to moderate winds. Those, I can see the winds on the CC Tourney page before I sign up.
