No, I will not. I play nothing but full shot, and am quite pleased with my short game, thank you very much. I'm betting I can drain a full shot from the fringe 6y with a Cleveland 64 degree and a Callaway ball (check the distance to see if it is a full 6y, check the break the last yard, hit it either 12y-14y with full BS) as easily as most can a chip (or pitch from farther). I tried to be well rounded, learned all the shots, and in the course of doing so, found that full shot works best for me in pretty much every situation around the green. Takes away reading all but the last couple of yards of green by the hole. Just takes practice. I found from 30-40 I add an extra 2-3 yards and from 40-50 I add 4-5 yards. From anywhere inside 30y, I'm 98% either in the hole or a one-putt away, and those two % are usually when I blow an easy putt.
