i have noticed with the Clevelands the 2 high lofted clubs will back up when you hit them flat.

adding a little TS will wake the ball stick unless you end up on the side if a cliff.

finally figuring out putting (kinda) has change my dreaded disease cantfrigginputtworthadamnitis to cool, it actually works.

i sure have fun playing, being more consistent (better, shorter approach shots)  has made it even better

I can not seem to find the individual distance ratings for each of the 2.0s. Would someone be so kind and give me a break down of each of the club distance ratings please?

    9 through 3 irons.

    Thanks.

    DarSum:
I would be lost playing percentages of the meter.

hehe, and I don't pay the slightest bit of attention to the movements of the avatar.  I only play % of the meter.

Thank you Dar Sum. Most helpful, Christmas may come a little earlier than I expected. Stopping the ball shorter is rather appealing.

    Have a nice day!

Damn you Clevland owners! LOL! The more I read about them the more I'm starting to think about switching everything up. But knowing me I will keep my set-up and if and when I make legend I will try to make it work. Right now my 4th wedge (110yds) comes into play maybe 30% of the time. So if it comes into play even less once I make legend I guess I will have no choice but to drop it for a 3wood. Well you all certainly gave me something to think about. Thanks guys. Take care.

I play the TB 2.0 set and Cleveland 56, 60, 64... so my wedges go 125, 100, 80, 60.  But I really don't have much issue with choking any of them using the meter.

    YankeeJim:

Compromise. Keep the 3W and the Satin64 and add the CG 80 and 100. The 115 will eventually not be needed if you go with Burners so save your money there (unless you want to go with 4.)

Lots of useful input in this thread, but this is the setup I go with myself.

Too much work put into my Satin 64 to let it go and the Clevelands are just incredibly accurate and a huge upgrade over Satins for me. I never liked the way the 98y Satin behaved, but the 100y Cleveland is a monster for sure (as is the 80y).

Several Legends in my CC has shelved their Burner 2.0s and gone back to G10s, so you don't *have to* upgrade irons even when you tier up. Personally I just find the Burners way too useful on those long approach shots, even though they require a lot more from the player in regards to meter-control.
I wouldn't advise on switching balls too much, it will not only mess up your meter-skills but also kill your shortgame for sure (if different spin etc). That being said, if you do go with cheaper balls, the Burners are really hard to handle.

Edit: Once you get to 85 you will use the R11 3w for sure, might as well get used to using three wedges already ;)

I'm a Callaway addict, and found myself in a tight financial situation over the last week, and unable to buy more Callys.  I had accumulated 40+ Dove balls, so decided to put them to use.  It took several days for me to figure out how to hit them.  The first day was to get used to the slightly quicker meter due to the feel difference.  It took an extra day with the Burners because of the meter speed.  The third day was figuring out how they would land, especially with my wedges.  I found I was hitting much shorter because of roll, but eventually I got used to them.  Thankful to have my Callaways back now, though.

A lot of great feedback in this thread, and I appreciate that a lot.  I've made a few decisions based on this feedback.

I am going to stick with the G-10s, at least for a while.. I feel like I have a lot more to learn with them.. particularly the dreaded 7i.  I also like the idea of keeping my meter speeds consistent.

I'm going to wait til I get to lvl 78 and get the Cleveland 60 wedge (80 yrds) to replace the starter that I'm currently using  for the gap between my Ping 52 (100 yrds) and Satin 64 (50 yrds).  I don't really like the Ping wedges, but I realize the benefit of replacing the starter first.. plus I've learned to use the Punch shot with my G10 PW (98 yards) pretty well so there are some cases where I can use that and not even have to use my Ping.  I feel like I will be using the 80 yard wedge the most, at least while I'm still at Master.

You guys have just convinced me that learning the Clevelands  is well worth it, even with the price.

From there I will replace the Ping 52 with the Cleveland 56/  I figure this will be around the same time that I unlock the R11 3w and will also be getting it (I think..)  Although some of the replays that I've watched of the R11 hybrid makes me wonder if I would like to carry it in place of a 3w and still carry 3 wedges (4 with PW).  I may pick up both of them as I realize the use of learning both in order to switch them out from time to time on certain courses.

Eventually I think my setup will look like this:

    R-11 driver

    R-11 3w (or hybrid.. haven't decided)

    G-10 Irons

    Cleveland 56

    Cleveland 60

and eventually Cleveland 64 (but keep the 64 satin for blitz games and experimenting with shots further)

I like the meter and the stats of the Rossa and don't see myself changing that.

Balls:  I am going to start using the Tour SD balls (as the full meter doesn't bother me) or the Srixon Zstar balls.. still haven't decided.  I think I'm willing to dish out that much more to enjoy this game I enjoy so much, but can't really bring myself to pay 1 dollar per virtual golf ball.

Again, thank you all for your feedback, particularly on the Cleveland wedges.
