  No, the custom course can me used as many times as you wish. A custom course builder can only be used once.

   

  The best way to get your moneys worth from a custom course builder is to first make a custom course in your country club, they are free to make. Then make a club tournament using the custom course. You will need a custom course builder that does cost some coins, credits. Make the custom tournament for a 4-week unlimited play tournament in your country club and you will be able to play the custom course for the entire 4 weeks as many times as you want.

  That seems a good way to get the best use from them, one thing though.

  You can create up to 10 courses and use 4 to play a 4 week (or less) tournament with unlimited play. One course each week. Can choose wind strength and green speed too. All for 400 credits.
