    NoNepotism:

"This player like many others before him and those to come made the biggest fatal mistake in this game that all the newbie's make. He only Played the easy courses (see below). Like any good player they are going for that lower average to move up through the tiers without any idea the shocker they are setting themselves up for down the road."

    Sarge,

You'll also note that I only played St. Andrews and Kiawah AFTER becoming a Masters level player.

I have no interest in Bethpage - that course is designed to separate the true shot-making of golf from the foolishness of Titanium and graphite clubs. Making par on a 500-yard par 4 shows no ability; it only proves one's foolishness and lust for bigger and more at the expense of class and style.

Same goes for Congressional, where Tan Boy Boehner hangs out, and Oakmont. That's target golf. The designers/owners ought to put land mines in the bunkers, exploding pyrotechnics underneath the green, and IEDs in the rough. Players do not assume the challenge of golf at those sites; instead, they appeal to the lust for video games and the latest Testosterone movie at their local mall cinema.

Royal St. George and St. Andrews offer links golf. Kiawah at least adheres somewhat to the true penalty v. reward basis of the sport.

WGT and the real owners of these real courses simply ought to have naked Page 3 babes and/or Fox News girls hold the flag sticks at each hole and just complete the total perversion of the sport from one of skill and creativity to one of high-cost, science fiction clubs and mindless, banal (google it) children.

    LOL

That has to be the most mindless tripe I have read. Keep drinking that cool aid dude!!

No offence sir but that is the silliest thing I've read on here for a long time.

Do you have the same issues with real courses charging a green fee?  I assume you can appreciate the expenses and cost of labor required to run a course--why is WGT any different?

Are you really saying that after the hours and hours you've played WGT, at little or no cost to you, you don't think it's worth 10 or 15 bucks to continue?  More importantly, you don't believe that nominal amount of money is deserved by the people who created the game and keep it up and running for you?

If you don't think the clubs are worth the price, don't buy them.  Its pretty simple.

I don't know anything about the company's tax situation, so I cannot comment on that.  If you have some proof that they are cheating or breaking the law, please fill us in.

I understand your point, but one finds it hard, if not impossible, to in any way trust the ownership and management of WGT.

    Thank you for your time.

your 1st post started fine until you started coming out spewing this bullshyte.

if WGT were to put you back down a tier......one could allege you to be a sandbagger because you'd be a master playing at tour pro level.....which is in contravention of the rules.

if you don't want to spend money upgrading..then you can watch free videos or do other thing to get free credits and buy better stuff,,,,,but questioning the trust or ownership of WGT holds no water here.

    complete and utter bolsheviks.

    tbe

(interesting thread about a player wanting a downgrade from Master tier)

    NoNepotism:
You have made it clear that one can only play this game at the Masters level if one chooses to enrich your organization. Due to certain research and discussions about your organization and some of its associates with various federal and international agencies, one questions the moral and legal validity behind giving money to your group and some of its management figures - both domestic and otherwise.

Please return my status to its prior level, thus making it possible for the game to be enjoyed.

I understand that you had plenty of "free" lunches before turning Master and at that moment in October 2011 you realised the truth:

    THERE IS NO FREE LUNCH!

OTOH, you seem to have learned your lesson in the meantime:

    - you are still playing on this "oligarchic" site - last game on April 09, 2012.

    - you have obeyed to the capitalist demands, buying some nice lvl58 G10s,

    - you fare well as a master with a 64.25 average (better than mine)

    Have fun mate!

I reckon if you reach Master tier with basic equipment it stands you in good stead for progressing further.

I totally agree with the comment earlier that said it's a free game and if you can't hit the fairways from master tees stick to practice rounds. Ultimately I'm happy to stump up for something I have been getting enjoyment out of and the fact WGT gives you the option has to be a good thing.

Far better than the £s I've wasted on games I've bought, played once and never again after.

    LMAO

Where are the penalizing holes at Kiawah..?

I can only think of 2 shots on the entire course where trouble really comes into play. (that being the 2nd shot at #2, and the tee shot on 17)...Kiawah is by far the easiest track in the rotation..

After reading the bulk of your posts, I sense that maybe you are reading too much Hunter Thompson.. Reasons being the catty Anti-Establishment rant, and the obvious abuse of psychotropic substances..
