Hi everybody, I'm newly Master at Level 43 but there is something I just can't figure yet on this game. Many times, with straight wind, in the back or in the front, I hit the ball right in the middle of the meter and the ball don't go straight, right on the start, it goes 2 to 6 yards off, left or right. And sometimes miss the middle by almost half an inch and it oges straight...I need explanations please, I got very good clubs so it can't be that I guess

    Thanks everybody

There is built in variation in every shot. Just like in real life the wind may be different at the pin than the tee.

Piz is being both diplomatic and kind.

There is a random deviation that can and sometimes will affect EVERY shot to some degree.  It can add or subtract distance, and it can go left or right.  It has an uncanny knack of kicking in when there's real trouble about (water, nightmare pot bunkers etc), or at least that's when you'll notice it the most lol.

But sometimes it kicks in at the right times.  Like miss a shot left - swear - look up and with astonished surprise see it sailing beautifully.  I tend to forget these and only remember when I ding the shot - chuckle - look up and with bewidered disgust watch it sail about 10 degree's offline straight into the crap.

I Agree with the previous comments...I noticed you just moved to Master...congrats...

It might be as simple as that...  When you first move Tiers...strange things start to happen until everything settles down a bit.

    THIS explains about deviation.

    Happy hitting

Thansk guys, I'm just wondering how can some people manage to play -18,-19 knowing that there is so much difference between identical shots, how can you improve yourself when you never know where the ball is gonna land? Does that mean these guys can putt 30-40 feet from the pin with eyes closed??

    BigDan1973,

That's a great question I have asked myself time and time again. How can I improve without knowing what to improve on?

And how can improve when I can't practice the same shot until I get it right knowing that same shot may or may not do the same thing under the same conditions..

What that means to me is I may as well shut my eyes on any shot since it's a toss-up.
